Funding
Peatmoor Primary School receives both Pupil Premium and PE and Sport Premium funding from the government.
This funding is used to support eligible pupils and to enhance the quality of education, opportunity, and wellbeing across the school community.
Pupil Premium
Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to publicly funded schools in England. It is designed to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities achieve their full potential and to reduce the attainment gap between these pupils and their peers.
Sport Premium
Schools receive PE and Sport Premium funding based on the number of pupils in Years 1 to 6. In settings that do not use standard year group structures (for example, some special schools), pupils aged 5 to 10 generate this funding.
This funding is used to improve the quality of physical education, increase participation in sport, and support schools in developing healthy, active lifestyles for all pupils.
